MC Kats Gets Money After Sheilah Gashumba’s Call For Donations

A number of entertainers have decided to reward MC Kats with money as he celebrates his birthday today. This is after a call by his coworker Sheilah Gashumba to reward him with money.

Sheilah took to her Twitter page and said that people should be given their flowers when they can still hold them. She then tasked all those in the entertainment industry to reward the MC with atleast Shs 500,000 each.

“Let’s give people their flowers while they can smell them; 500,000 birthday challenge for @mckatsug from everyone in the industry ( his birthday is 1st June). He is always pushing for Ugandan music!! So the challenge begins at midnight!! 500k – 0782877897,” she tweeted.

And since Kats has been around the industry for time immemorial, a lot of entertainers have passed through his hands. A number of celebrities heeded the call and started sending Kats the money.

Some of the those who sent the NBS After 5 presenter money included comedian Alex Muhangi who sent Shs 705000. TNS boss Jeff Kiwa sent in Shs 500,000.

Cask Lounge and restaurant sent the Uganda AIDS Commission ambassador Shs 1 million while Nina Roz also sent him Shs 500,000.

Others are still also coming out to send him money both fans and those in the music industry. Kats also went ahead to ask his followers to tag anyone so that they send him money to finish his kids’ house.

Many artists have only beautiful stories to tell about Kats. This is because of the pillar he’s been in their careers when nobody believed them.

Basically, many more will send him money as they adore and respect him in the Ugandan music industry.
