Mc Kats Praises Jeff Kiwa For Comforting Him Through Recovery

The self-styled king of the mic Edwin Katamba aka MC Kats has come out to applaud Team No Sleep manager Jeff Kiwa for comforting him through recovery.

MC Kats a few years ago suffered from a mental breakdown. This saw him go on a rampage on different social media platforms saying weird things.

He then later publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Consequently, they later sent him to rehab as most of his lifestyle started to turn for the worst.

His baby mama Fille Mutoni also dumped him. The two had been together for close to a decade although their relationship was surrounded by controversy often.

Fille accused MC Kats of selfishness after he declared his HIV status publicly. He however recovered back fully to his feet with the help of friends and family.

Kats while appearing on NBS TV applauded Jeff Kiwa as a strong pillar towards his recovery. This was because he often called and advised him accordingly.

“Jeff Kiwa was a father figure to me. He often called me and advised me to get back on my feet. He helped me recover,” Mc Kats revealed.

The NBS After 5 presenter is now the country ambassador for the Uganda Aids Commission. He dedicated his life to a purposeful cause and he’s no longer afraid to speak about his status.

This has seen him get recognition from even the president for being on the front of fighting the deadly disease.
