Comedian MC Mariachi’s Sick Father Living In Absolute Poverty, Son Denies Him

The public has been left shocked after learning of the sad living conditions of celebrated comedian MC Mariachi ‘s alleged father were showed live on TV.

Despite the fame and monies the comedian pockets on a weekly basis, the comedian’s father resides in dire need.

The old-aged man looks so sickly, hunger-stricken, and malnourished. However, a while ago Mariachi appeared at a burial he said was his father’s. And besides, this man who was shown on TV is called Byaruhanga, a kinyankore name, whereas Mariachi is Kasozi a Kiganda name. This elderly man said that Mariachi is just a nickname. But Mariachi is also a munyankore.

He added that the man Mariachi appeared to be burying then was his uncle. He however grew up from there reason he refers to him as his father too.

This man however seems to harbor no bad feelings towards the comedian. He said that he’s proud of the comedian. And besides, he occasionally sends him support. Byaruhanga revealed that he rents a house of 60,000 shillings per month.

His job has been working in a banana plantation and feeding pigs. However, he’s now too weak to work.

“My name is Byaruhanga Kasozi Matovu and Mariachi is my son. Mariachi is just a nickname but his name is Kasozi Charles and we are Banyankore from the Ngabi totem. The man who died that he refers to as his father was my half-brother and he grew up with him.”

“He’s been helping me a lot. I love and I’m proud of him. However, my conditions are so worrisome now. I’m so weak and sickly and can no longer afford my basic needs. I have been working in a banana plantation and feeding someone’s pigs,” he said.

A neighbor of Byaruhanga who looks after him said that Mariachi used to occasionally come by. He would bring some food and other basic needs.

He would even drive him to hospital but he’s now taken long. It’s this neighbor now that looks after him on her own expense since the comedian doesn’t give her any help.

Mariachi however denied this man is his father. He maintained that his biological father died and Byaruhanga is only an uncle. The help he has been providing is just to a relative.

He added that this man’s children abandoned him in the house. Attempts to reach them to support him have severally failed.
