However, the singer shocked many when he ended the marriage after months of speculation.
Shockingly enough, he got back with his long-time ex-girlfriend, Pouline. While on a local TV show, the Sulubada High School CEO said that he realized there was a difference between what he needed and what he wanted.
After realizing this, he decided to stop living in denial and went for what he wanted since he had already got what he needed. However, this has set him on a line of criticism from the public. Many feel that it was unfair of him on how he treated his wife.
In a follow-up interview, the Yanimba singer said that people are just stirring up controversy for nothing. And this could be partly due to his concert slated for next month.
Mikie Wine said that he and his ex-wife have a great relationship and they co-parent together without any problem. Besides, he respects her a lot and that’s why he never speaks about her in the press. Whenever she wants to access her kids, she does so without hesitation.
“There is no problem between me and my ex-wife. She’s the mother of my kids and I respect her a lot. If I don’t do so, I would be disrespecting my kids. We have great communication and she can see the kids whenever she wants.”
Meanwhile, he also took some time and talked about fellow singer Eddy Kenzo. It was Mikie Wine who gave the presidential advisor a breakthrough in their Yanimba hit. However, Mikie said that he’s got no problem with the Stamina singer.
