Bajjo a few days ago speaking as the president of the National Promoters Association said that artists need to be put where they belong.
He went ahead to release fares each one should perform for. These were deemed disrespectful plus the insults he uttered toward these musicians.
Speaking about Bajjo, local kidandali singer Gravity Omutujju referred to him as a pig. He even made a song and a video in which he likened Bajjo to the “dirty” animal. The motor-mouthed Bajjo hit back saying that the Tusimbudde singer actually looks more of a pig.
Another singer, Pallaso also hit at Bajjo and advised him to start singing and then hire himself. Catherine Kusasira also added her voice and said Bajjo is so disrespectful.
She in fact revealed that she used to sing for him years ago. And the promoter defaulted her up to now. The promoter however when asked about these allegations resorted to demeaning and body shaming Kusasira.
Eddy Kenzo was another one who added his voice to the power. He rallied musicians to identify such promoters who undermine their work and sideline them.
“Anyone trying to undermine artists is not a promoter but rather a demoter. I urge my fellow musicians to take note of such people and sideline them till they learn to respect us,” said Kenzo.
And again the promoter was there in handy to reply to Kenzo. He said that Kenzo can’t refuse to perform for him because he has no such authority.
In fact, his next concert has Kenzo as the main act. The way Kenzo loves headlines, he will indeed go there according to Bajjo.
A one promoter Nobert, who was attacked by him in his utterances said that what Bajjo said is not collective. It’s not what all promoters want and that’s his individual take.
He also added that singers who go ahead to perform for him after he insulted them will only give him might.
