More Vigilance At The Bus Park After Bomb Incident Yesterday

Bus parks have become more vigilant after the bomb incident that happened yesterday inside a bus. As the country was still healing from the Komaboga bomb incident that killed one person, another one happened on the bus.

Swift Safaris bus was targeted by an explosive that also left one dead and many others injured along the Kampala-Masaka highway. Investigations are already underway.

“The Police are investigating whether the person blown up was the one carrying the bomb or not. Preliminary reports say that the blast was from the seat and it killed only that person and injured the one who was sitting behind.”

Currently, all bus points are very vigilant, especially about security. There is no entry without being fully checked. This has awakened more security measures because something worse could happen.

If someone is capable of carrying a bomb into the bus then they could do worse in a park full of people. However, this only means these security measures have not been there at all.

The government has asked members of the public to stay very vigilant during this time. Police definitely can not be everywhere but if people are vigilant enough they could notify it in time.
