MP Daudi Kabanda Blasts Bobi Wine Over Mathias Mpuuga

Kasambya County MP Hon Daudi Kabanda has branded the leader of the National Unity Platform Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine a hypocrite. This is after the latter’s fallout with MP, Hon Mathias Mpuuga at a burial in Masaka.

While in the company of Hon Abed Bwanika at a burial over the weekend, the disgruntled NUP MPs accused their bosses of fuelling the disgruntlement in the party. However, when the former presidential candidate spoke, he said that he had forgiven the former leader of the opposition. Additionally, he said that he has no problem with Mpuuga but the MP appeared to disagree with this.

Bobi Wine further talked about togetherness and forgiveness. But according to Kabanda, the former Kyadondo East MP is a hypocrite. The MP wondered why the NUP president didn’t think about togetherness before throwing Mpuuga under the bus.

The PLU Secretary-General also advised Bobi Wine on how to run a political party. According to the MP, a leader should learn to compromise because he can’t go around exploding over everything. Kabanda meanwhile has never run a party of his own to gain any technical experience to advice Bobi Wine.

“When @AbedBwanika attacked @HEBobiwine@HEBobiwine stood up and spoke about togetherness. Why didn’t he think about togetherness when he was attacking @MathiasMpuuga? If you want your political party to go forward, you have to learn to compromise. You can’t explode over everything,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, some MPs led by Lwemiyaga County MP, Theodore Ssekikubo have called for the removal of all the four MPs from the Parliamentary Commission. This is over the Shs400M-Shs500M they shared amongst themselves as service awards. The MP argued that their ouster will restore the dignity & integrity of Parliament. It will also maintain & strengthen the public trust and confidence in Parliament.
