The former president of the opposition giant party FDC , Gen. Mugisha Muntu was accused by the party Secretary General and Member of Parliament for Budadiri County West in Sironko district, Nathan Nandala Mafabi. His resignation from Forum for Democratic Change was regarded as a shameful act after losing elections to Patrick Oboi.

Nandala Mafabi urged that Mugisha Muntu’s resignation from FDC was expressed as being low esteemed towards the party as the former army commander. Mafabi claims that Muntu never had clear objectives towards the party.
Mugisha Muntu was criticized by Mafabi.
“That means that there were other needful options of Mugisha Muntu putting aside being a member of the party. Well, we need every member of the party, but we can’t hold them against their will, it’s free entry and exit,” Mafabi claimed.
To add-on, Mafabi more accused Mugisha for under weighing Patrick Oboi’s leadership after being defeated in the elections.
