Mubaraka Munyagwa Accuses President Museveni Of Opposition Party Disputes

Former member of parliament Hon Mubaraka Munyagwa has accused President Museveni of the constant opposition party disputes.

He said he is the master mind behind all the wrangles that go on in these parties especially FDC and DP.

FDC has been going through hard times where it’s leaders were torn apart. Some of its members have been accusing each other of getting money from the government.

They even got to a point where the FDC president Amuriat was accused of getting secret money and wanting to sell the political part to the ruling party NRM.

That same incident happened in Democratic Party (DP) led by Nobert Mao. For him he was directly taken to NRM as he was appointed as the Minister.

DP leaders and supporters were so angry at him but he insisted and stayed in the position that he was given. He refused to even resign as the president of DP.

According to Mubaraka Munyagwa, president Museveni said that by 2026 there will be no opposition and that is what he is doing.

He said everyone that has been following closely knows that President Museveni is constantly giving some opposition leaders money.

Some have given in while the strong ones are still holding on to the opposition but soon they will also give up and follow him.

“The president is the reason for the party disputes; that’s why even in his own party, there’s no democracy. We all heard him say that by 2026 there will be no opposition and that is what he is doing,” Mubaraka Munyagwa said.
