During the commissioning of Ibanda Justice Centre, one of Otafiire’s statements was that president Museveni will not be removed from power just by shouting, but only through ballot paper, according to Nile Post.

Museveni will leave power only when you stop flooding him with votes, he won’t leave just because people are yelling. No one is going to yell president Museveni out of office,’’ he said.

There was no real democracy in Uganda before, he’s the initiator of democracy in Uganda, let us support him to successfully attain the goals we fought for,’’he added.

Otafiire advised the opposition to discuss issues with their sense and stop fighting with us, he continued and said when the opposition begin using force, they end up being beaten and the same people will go mourning.
