Museveni Is Punishing Entertainment Industry For Siding With Bobi Wine – Kato Lubwama Claims

It’s now a full year since President Yoweri Museveni officially ordered all public gatherings in a bid to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus. This directive crippled the entertainment industry whereby all artistes are crying up to now.

After months of home confinement, the president partly eased the lockdown by allowing the majority of the sectors to resume operations. Except for the entertainment industry which remained closed.

According to the legendary musical artiste, comedian and former MP Kato Lubwama, president Museveni is intentionally punishing the entertainment industry for supporting Bobi Wine.

Coronavirus pandemic can also be handled in the entertainment industry. Just like it is in other sectors,’ he said during an interview on Dembe FM.

The pandemic outbreak disrupted the industry especially music and film production. The government cancelled all live performances and events. Some musical artistes quickly shifted their content to online and left the old business model.

Many musicians especially the upcoming completely ran broke and getting what to eat was a challenge. Others started yearning for government food which they distributed free of charge.

In separate news earlier published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, the self-styled motivational speaker Jennifer Full Figure was disappointed with the team which was meant to distribute food to the starving Ugandans. Full Figure for the first time felt so bad. This is after finding out that her fans yearned for food but nothing they did nothing.

The task force unit was appointed by the Government to supply food to different parts of the country, but it seems they were working on a slow pace yet people were dying of hunger.
