His excellency the president of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni some time back spoke about how CCTV cameras that were mean’t to be installed in every corners around Kampala to eliminate unlawful criminals.

Following the death of important personalities like Afande Kaweesi who died after being shot in his car, former Arua municipality MP, Abiriga and Afande Mohammed Kirumira who was also shot in his car. The president put a blame on police officers who pretended that they didn’t hear any bullets during Abiriga’s death.
Museveni now ready to see sleeping policemen on CCTV cameras.
Therefore, the president came up with this idea of putting cameras along the streets so as to see all the officers who are just sleeping without taking concern of what they are mean’t to do. He also said some time back in a conference that if the police officers don’t take note about their security in areas they protect, they should just resign and do other things.
This statement has awaken so many policemen, and hope this will eliminate more death wrangles that have been taking place in the country.
