Kyagulanyi however this time said that the bigger problem is Ugandans who believe in him. This is because it’s well known that Museveni is a pathological liar. Therefore, the people that dwell on his lies are the problem.
This followed the President’s twist of tongue in regards to the middle-income status of the country. Museveni while delivering the State of the Nation Address last month revealed that Uganda had entered the middle-income status.
This however left many people wondering where he was getting his figures. It wasn’t long before the World Bank questioned his figures too. They in fact trashed Mr. Museveni’s claims adding that the country was far from this milestone.
However, in a recent interview with an international news agency WION, Museveni minced his own words. He denied saying that Uganda had reached the middle-income status. According to him, he only said that country was just starting to enter this phase.
Kyagulanyi wondered how Museveni has the audacity to lie publicly and then the next day deny his words. Kyagulanyi also quoted ex-president Milton Obote who described Museveni as a pathological liar in one of their meetings.
The problem is not Museveni being a pathological liar, the problem is those that believe him.
The man has literally lied about every thing. He will lie on national TV with his eyes wide open and the next day he will come and deny what he said, still with eyes wide open.

According to the World Bank figures, Uganda’s growth per capita income remains at USD 840. However, according to Museveni, the growth per capita income is at 1046 USD.
Museveni added that for the country to be declared in the middle-income status, there needs to be the maintenance of the figures he mentioned for a period of 3 years.
