Singer Qute Kaye has revealed his best moment ever in life. Apparently, this was setting his eyes on his mother after he was discharged from rehab.

It should be noted that the Ginkese singer faced a very terrible drug addiction problem. This almost led to his end but thanks to his mother, he’s still alive.

According to the singer, everyone else had given up on him and they thought that he would never make it. Despite the relapses, his mother never gave up on him. She kept on fighting and finally he got out of danger.

The singer added that people should know that drug addiction is a disease. And once they acknowledge it, they will be able to face it.

Furthermore, the singer added that there is nothing he admires about his younger self. This is because he’s been through a lot of trials and tribulations. Nothing can be taken for granted therefore to him.

“There’s nothing I would really miss about the young me or my previous years. I have gone through a lot and learnt what life really is. At the moment, I am proud of the life I am living and it can’t be taken for granted.”

“My best moment in life was seeing my mother out of rehab. People need to know that drug addiction or any other addiction is a disease that needs treatment,” said Qute Kaye.

Meanwhile, he also said that he’s set to release a new album and he believes it’s going to be a good one. Besides, he has an NGO that aims at fighting addiction amongst the community.
