The Byabangi singer while appearing on NTV’s Mwasuze Mutya program with Faridah Nakazibwe said that she got pregnant at a very tender age of 16.
This happened when she was still in school. She suffered a lot after they chased her from home. The only support she remained with was from her mother, a roasted cassava street vendor.
She further said that her actions hurt the whole family because they had high hopes in her academically.
“I got pregnant as a teenager and my father sent me away from home. My mother handled the pain by spending five days in church. It was a hard time for the whole family because they had hopes that I would be a lawyer,” she said.
The singer however eventually gave birth to her son who she showed to the public in 2020. After all this mess, her life took a different path as she made it in music.
She broke onto the scene with her Bankuza smash hit in 2019 and she’s never looked back since then.
A number of hit songs and cementing her place in the industry have all followed along. She also gave birth to a second child with her manager and social media popular figure Dictator Amir.
