My Mother Wants To Kill Me – Iryn Namubiru Reveals

In a case that has spanned more than three years, singer Iryn Namubiru has come out to claim how her mother wants to kill her.

The saga all stems from land wrangles where the “Biroowozo” Hit maker claims to have inherited 1acre of the 8 acre piece of land in Mityana district, Nambale village from her grandfather.

Iryn Namubiru speaking to the media said that she could not say much other than awaiting Court’s ruling.

“For now I don’t want to say much other than await the Court’s ruling which has directed us to go back on 13th May. Though for now am in shock of my life but if anything happens to me. Then my mother should be the one to be questioned first.”

Iryn Namubiru’s auntie a sister to the singer’s mother went ahead to ascertain Namubiru’s claims saying that her father gave a piece of land to his grandchildren.

“My name is Brenda Nyanzi Kigema from Kitintale. We have been told to go back to court on 13th May. But for me what I want is to get these kids their piece of land. This land belonged to our father but he gave part of it to his grand children before he died and they are the ones am fighting for.”

She went ahead to say that Namubiru’s mother was so bitter that she had decided to side with the singer, ” Iryn and the brother Robert Nsimbe were given their own land and I want them to get their share before I can share the rest with my older sister and hopefully with God’s intervention it will also come to pass. She was even angry at me at the fact that am fighting for the truth.”

Iryn Namubiru’s brother a one Sonde who is siding with the mother had some harsh words for the singer when he said that they have had enough of her antics.

“Iryn has done a lot of bad things to us that we can’t mention in public because they are outrageous. How can she say that we discriminate her yet all this time we have always provided for her well being. Where did she get all the school fees that took her to the prestigious schools such as Namasagali? She’s a 50 year old woman that should start respecting her age. She was asked in court whether she had proof of the land but had none. I think she just made a pact with the devil and wants to see bloodshed.”

It will be awaited to see what the court decides next week as they were given time to sort the case outside court and we shall keep you updated
