My Story Was Perfectly Knitted By God – Desire Luzinda Says In BBC Interview

Desire Luzinda has come out to say that her story and life was perfectly knitted and predetermined by God. She made the claims in regards to her sex tape and nudes that leaked in 2014.

2014 was and is a year that Desire will long to forget. This is after her lover, Nigerian Franklin Emuobor leaked her private photos and videos to the public.

The Ekitone singer became the talk of the country, especially male fans who took to lusting over her and this surely dented her music career.

By then, it was visible that the diva was past her best musical years and surely needed a comeback that was being taken over by the younger musicians.

She did however get one but not in the way she either her or her fans anticipated with her nudes making it to public sight.

Desire went ahead to do music for a limited time after that but she couldn’t handle the pressure of fans always seeing her as sex object.

She quit music and subsequently relocated to the US with her daughter where she resorted to pastoral and church work.

During an interview with BBC Africa, Desire said that despite the years that have run down, some people still see her as the woman in the pictures.

“Some people do still look at me in a certain way. Others look at me as a sex object. Others as some crazy woman who has no shame.” The singer said.

It is surely a stain that she can never wash away from her entire life and career no matter where she goes.

However, the singer was able to embrace and own her mistakes. She has channelled her life into something more useful and comforting.

She asked those who are still stuck in that mode to simply move on and excuse themselves from her life.

“My story is perfectly knitted by God. I AM NOT ASHAMED OF MY STORY. IF YOU ARE, THE DOOR IS WIDE OPEN. AND HEY, DO NOT STAND IN THE WAY, YOU’RE BLOCKING THE TRAFFIC.” Luzinda posted on her Facebook page.

Indeed the saying that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger was justified.
