NBS News Casters In Cold War With Their Viewers On Social Media

NBS News Casters are in cold war with their viewers on social media. This comes after fans said their posts about opposition MPs are controversial and unrealistic.

NBS News casters including, Canary Mugume, Daniel Lutaaya, Samson Kasumba plus Sabiti Joesph are the main men in this.

Apparently, their posts were questioning why opposition MPs have allowed swearing in a government led by a president they say lost.

“So the other group doesn’t recognize the sitting government whose leader was sworn in last week. But still sends their MPs to swear in and debate policy that will be implemented by the same government?” Canary Mugume posted

Consequently, angry fans reacted by telling canary not to insult his intelligence.

“Don’t insult your intelligence @CanaryMugume, leave that to minors. They competed and won genuinely, not all is lost. Even if they get a few resources and help one single person, it’s better. Did you want to take their places?”

Fans even went ahead to accuse NBS of being very subjective in their broadcasts. This didn’t sit well with Sabiti. He reminded the viewers how police beat him while covering opposition.

“I was beaten giving a chance to the Opposition (NUP) to be heard and I will defend their legitimate right any day except I don’t ever remember crying to you! I don’t even think I know you!” Sabiti lashed out at a fan.

These petty fights from the NBS team with their viewers started during election period. Fans say they produced fake polls that have not explained to date.

On top of this today, NBS published their polls regarding speakership putting Oulanya in the lead which has caused more talk on Twitter streets.
