NBS TV Can’t Produce It’s Own Talents – Frank Gashumba Claims

Social entrepreneur and motivational speaker Frank Gashumba has criticized different Media houses including NTV for paying little money to their workers yet they sacrifice a lot for their benefits.

According to Gashumba, he feels bad on how media owners for a long time disrespected journalists and offer them very little payments which makes them move from one media house to another. He therefore branded NBS TV as a brief case for failing to produce their own talent.

NBS televsion is always known for poaching workers especially from NTV Uganda, but Gashumba advised them to start training their own talents in order to survive in the industry.

“NBS TV has mastered the art of poaching from NTV Uganda and that is why I no longer take them serious. They only top up 100K or 200k and they have fooled a number of them to leave NTV. These TV owners should improve the welfare of their workers” he said.

Judith Nabakooba, the ICT minister also promised to engage the media owners to discuss on how to make improvements on the welfare of journalists in the country.
