Netizens Gang Up On Sheilah Gashumba As They Accuse Her Of Sex Trafficking

If there’s any personality in Uganda who finds it hard to navigate social media, then Sheilah Gashumba is definitely one of them. The social media influencer has so many critics and has found herself in the spotlight with many branding her a sex trafficker.

This came after she took to her Snapchat to advertise one of her bar events and the incentives that would be available. She revealed that anyone buying a table worth Shs 25m and Shs 12m would have two international girls for entertainment.

“Anyone buying 25m and 12m table will have 2 international girls to entertain them!! That’s why we call it big spenders assembly !!!”

She then added that if one buys a table for one man and one bottle and they want new sexy girls to fly in for their parties, they should book her and let her know. Additionally, she said that she flies girls in from across the world for their biggest spenders.

As soon as this landed on social media, many accused her of vending people’s daughters for her sex work in the guise of employing them.

Sheilah Gashumba Accused Of Sex Trafficking

A screenshot of Sheilah’s post on Snapchat seemingly shows what many call an advert for a sex trafficking activity.

“In a serious system, with this information. Sheilah Gashumba would be behind bars. Isn’t this human trafficking you people ?” one social media user said.

One even went as far as calling her the female Diddy. However, others came to her defense saying that these are mature girls. They apparently know what they are doing and nobody forces them.

Sex trafficking is defined as the action or practice of illegally transporting people from one country or area to another for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

It has been defined as modern-day slavery with girls across the world being sold into sexual exploitation.
