Midfielder Nicholas Kasozi Goes Missing From Uganda Cranes Camp

Uganda Cranes midfielder, Nicholas Kasozi is well accustomed to disappearing without a trace and this happened while he played at KCCA FC and Kyetume FC. The football player has once again gone missing, without a trace, from the Uganda Cranes camp.

The notion that ‘old habits die hard’ is overshadowing Kasozi’s youth football career. Many people know the midfielder for disappearing during crucial training prior to big games.

The Kyetume FC midfielder missed training on Monday. Unlike the injured Patrick Kaddu and Alionzi Nafian who had light training drills, Kasozi just failed to show up.

Apparently, Kasozi went away without official leave (AWOL) from the residential camp in Kisaasi on Sunday and never returned.

Apparently, reports indicate that Nicholas Kasozi left camp mainly to sign with league champions Express FC who are chasing his signature. However, these reports are unconfirmed.

Unless otherwise, his chance of playing against Kenya in the World Cup Qualifiers is blurry.

He last featured for Uganda Cranes in 2019 and was among the few players that coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic recalled in his second encounter with Uganda.
