This followed criticism of promoters by Ugandan entertainers. Some of these entertainers are not happy that these promoters are able to fly in even just upcoming Nigerian musicians who part with huge chunks of money.
Gagamel boss Bebe Cool is one of those who made the outcry for a long time. According to the Bogolako singer, these promoters have done a lot to kill Ugandan talents while promoting foreign ones, especially Nigerians.
However, Klint while appearing in an interview with Sanyuka TV provided some advice to these Ugandan acts. He said that for a Nigerian to get paid that huge money, it means they have walked the talk. And after many ups and downs in their careers, they finally manage to build that much sought-after brand.
He, therefore, advised Ugandan entertainers to concentrate on investing in their brands. They will then start seeing the results.
“Every single penny paid to a Nigerian entertainer wherever they go is worth it. This is because before you know about us, we go through a lot of trials and tribulations. And finally, when we make it and our brand is highly valuable, every money paid to us is worth.
Therefore Ugandans should walk their talk and once they do this, their value will rise. And once it rises, they will then see the value of building a brand,” Klint da Drunk said.
He will perform at today at Alex Muhangi’s Comedy Store edition.
