The singer/songwriter/producer served his ex with court papers with an intention to sue. Andre wants Shs 120 million from the Enyonta singer for the projects he did for her.
According to Andre’s lawyers G.M Kibirige and Co. Advocates, Nina Roz entered into a contract with Daddy Andre. Her projects done under this contract, therefore, gave Andre some rights.
This contract was entered into in August 2020 and a few successful projects were done by the two parties. Among the projects done were songs such as Billboard, Andereya.
However, last year in October, Nina Roz allegedly breached this contract. It’s said that Andre reached out to Nina severally for her to respect this agreement but she didn’t.
Andre took it upon himself in December 2021 to serve Nina with a document informing her of how she was breaching this contract.
The lawyers further added that they have been advising Daddy Andre since January not to run to court. This is because both are artists and issues could be solved amicably outside of court.
However, Andre a few days reported to his lawyers how Nina Roz has failed to honor the contract. What’s bothering Andre is that the contract was supposed to be for 5 years.
Nina however lasted 1 year under the agreement. She is using the projects done under Andre in another management with all proceeds going there.
The documents served gave her an ultimatum of 7 days. If she doesn’t heed by their call, they will proceed to Court. Andre, therefore, wants only the money that did these projects.
According to his lawyers, the other forfeited 4 years will be dealt with according to their agreement.
The Sikikukweka singer ran to Court after Nina Roz accused him of stealing her 20 million shillings and selling off her Mark X car. The duo enjoyed a short-lived relationship before bitterly breaking up.
