Nobert Mao Files Complaint Over Bizonto Comedy Group Over Death Threats

DP president Nobert Mao seems like a man embroiled in a sea of political debris at the moment. He a few days launched a social media verbal war against NUP.

The two factions, a small one (Mao’s) and and big one of NUP have been exchanging heated words which has seen Mao sue the Bizonto Comedy Group over death threats.

Bizonto are with no doubt supporters of NUP and Kyagulanyi. They were even last year arrested by security operatives over a comedy skit they did.

They accused them of promoting tribalism but in fact, they were instead highlighting it. This time around they did a full comedy skit that was directed at Mao.

Mao after watching the almost fortnight old skit ran to Police and filed a legal complaint.

The DP president branded Bizonto as the choir of the NUP(Kabaka Yekka) party. He added that these used all sorts of words to soil his character and ended by threatening to kill him.

“I have filed a formal complaint with the Police against the hate-mongering NUP/KY Choir known as Bizonto Comedy for threatening my life in their skit on YouTube. They used all sorts of innuendo to sully my character and ended by threatening to kill me,” Mao said.

In this skit, there is no absolute doubt on who the Bizonto are referring to and it’s Mao. These refer to him as Mau Mau rebellion who was sent to destabilize the Opposition by the regime.

They accused him of learning Luganda only to use it to insult the indigenous people.

Bizonto further accuse Mao of chasing the original people of DP who he went ahead to insult such as Erias Lukwago, Betty Nambooze, Mathias Mpuuga among others.

They do not stop there as they also accuse Mao of snatching other people’s wives. Further, they told him that he’s on a paid mission but he can go ahead to do all his evils but leave the Opposition alone.

These then wonder why he attacks Besigye and Bobi Wine who are the people’s hopes.

In their closing remarks, they tell Mao to respect his mother, father, them (Bizonto) and Bobi Wine.

They also advise him not to attack them because they will give him a beating of his life that will leave all his teeth dropping on the floor.
