Nobert Mao Is The Most Brilliant Opposition Leader In Uganda – Gen. Muhoozi

Lt Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has said Nobert Mao is the most brilliant opposition leader in Uganda. According to him, Mao has presidential skills.

He said this through a tweet he posted on his Twitter handle. He however didn’t give any explanation on why he thinks Nobert Mao is the most brilliant opposition leader.

“My big brother @norbertmao is the most brilliant opposition leader in Uganda today. He has Presidential skills.”

This tweet has attracted mixed reactions among his followers. Some are justifying his tweet while others have thrown it in the pit.

“Chairman Norbert Mao truly is and as a person I was reading about when he was the guild president of Makerere around the same time I was a prefect, I would relate with him and get inspired. Yes, we also thought the same but over time and his time in DP with all the internal contradictions that he has tried to resolve but found resistance… ,” a one Tmusa Kasereka said.

Some people were reacting saying Muhoozi is only giving signals of the two of them working together. Of late, people have been accusing Nobert Mao of conspiring with the NRM party.

Most of the opposition members currently see him as a spy amidst them. This tweet has even made the issue more complicated. Why would Muhoozi out of the blue praise Mao in a tweet?

Meanwhile, Mao has twice contested for the presidency and lost on both occasions. He is also the first person outside of Buganda to lead the Democratic Party. He is a very good orator, which in a way has kept him in the public eye.
