Nobert Mao Responds To Gen Muhoozi’s Compliments

DP president Nobert Mao has come out to respond to Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s compliments about him. This raised a number of mixed reactions about how the two handled the situation.

Muhoozi had earlier on hailed Nobert Mao as the most brilliant opposition politician in the country. The first son added that the former presidential candidate indeed has presidential qualities.

This saw Mao take on the compliment of the Commander of the Land Forces in quite an astonishing way. Mao said that Muhoozi’s tweet had drawn a clear line between the ones who know and those who understand.

He further said that he’s glad Gen Muhoozi doesn’t suffer from generational myopia. Mao, therefore, applauded the first son for giving credit where it’s due.

“This tweet has drawn a clear line between those who know and those who understand! I’m glad @mkainerugaba doesn’t suffer from generational myopia. You need a wide lens to overcome generational myopia. Otherwise, you’ll always be taken by surprise & end up wallowing in victimhood!,” Mao said as he retweeted Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s complimentary tweet.

However, a number of people were surprised that Mao actually had taken this compliment lightly. He had not thought about the weight it carries but just drowned in it.

Some reminded him that when one gets endorsed by the devil, they should have reason to worry.

“Mr @norbertmao when you hear the Devil endorsing one of the bishops to become the next Pope then you simply have reasons to ask questions and worry about the safety of The Vatican,” one of the comments said.
