Nobert Mao; Why Hasn’t Media Questioned What Bobi Wine Is Still Doing In Politics?

DP president Nobert Mao has come out to fault the media for always looking for a fault in him and his party. The politician wondered why the media hasn’t questioned NUP leader, Bobi Wine what he’s still doing in politics.

This is after Bobi Wine in one of his remarks before the presidential elections said that if he did not dislodge Museveni from power in 2021, he would quit politics.

Unlike for Mao who said that he would hand over the DP presidency if the party failed to raise about enough MPs in Parliament, the media has been silent about Kyagulanyi’s remarks.

In fact, no one has ever put the question to the former Kyadondo East legislator. Yet for Mao, he has on countless times been faced with this question.

“For instance as you know, the leader of NUP said that he would quit politics if he didn’t dislodge Museveni from power in the 2021 presidential elections. I have not heard the media put that to him. But in the case of Mao, you keep singing it. You the media are the most dishonest people because you want to keep putting Mao on the whipping post,” he said.

Mao also said that unless the Opposition pulls up their socks, the NRM is basically on vacation.

He further said that he sees the way NRM parliamentarians are relaxed in Parliament. The NRM strikers are simply on vacation because no ball is coming their way.

He also said that Ugandans will continue to suffer until they realize that DP is the party to lead them to the promised land.

Therefore, when they have tried everything and given up, they will come back to follow the Democratic Party.
