Nubian Li Responds To Jose Chameleone’s Diss

Firebase vice president Nubian Li has come out to respond to Leone Island boss Dr Jose Chameleone’s recent diss aimed at the Kamwokya-based crew.

Nubian Li while appearing in an interview with Sanyuka TV during Karole Kasita’s birthday party said that they have no problem with the Wale wale singer. In fact he’s family to them.

Chameleone during the recent birthday celebration of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba took to the stage and sliced through Firebase and NUP.

The singer said that he doesn’t want to hear that nonsense of Kamwokya and in fact, no one should threaten him with it.

He revealed that he’s bigger than the whole crew because he not only belongs to Uganda but also globally.

Many, however, think Chameleone became hostile to Bobi Wine and co after being denied a NUP ticket for the Kampala mayor. This was during the 2021 General elections.

Nubian Li however says that there was a process that everyone had to go through. And since it was vetting, Chameleone didn’t make the cut.

However, they have no issue with him. He’s in fact family and they are willing to sit and listen to his grievances.

“Chameleone knows exactly what went down. It was a vetting process and whatever came out is what the party always went with. We have no problem with him as Kamwoky. We are willing to sit down with him in the future and listen to his grievances. He’s our family before anything else because as musicians, we see ourselves as family,” Nubian Li said.

The singer also said that Firebase has been a big part of Karole Kasita’s journey in the music industry. They are his mentors as she used to perform around Kamwokya.
