NUP Is An NRM Branch – Catherine Kusasira Reveals

After being chased from the burial of fellow singer Mathias Walukaaga’s father’s burial, singer Catherine Kusasira has decided to let the cat out of the bag.

During an interview with Sanyuka TV, Kusasira said that NUP is an NRM branch. She, therefore, wondered why these people who chased her with Big Eye act like they know the genesis of the party.

The singer questioned if anyone knows who formed and registered NUP. She further mentioned a number of top bigwigs in the party affiliated to regime members.

Kusasira then implored people to act smart and stop being used by politicians for their selfish gains. She described NUP as a passing wind just like the times of Besigye and FDC.

“I wonder why these people act so much like they own NUP. Do they know who formed and registered NUP? All I can tell you is that NUP is an NRM branch and this is a blowing wind that will eventually come to pass just like the times of Besigye or even the late mayor Ssebagala.

Take a look at Walukaaga, who do you think saved his house when it was being taken, Bobi Wine himself used to work with Kayihura, Hilderman was the next of kin to Amelia Kyambadde. All these are NRM products,” Kusasira said.

The singer said she’s mad because of the way NUP supporters treated her. This is because she’s been at burials where they even interact with NUP supporters because such times don’t require politics.

According to Kusasira, both Walukaaga and Bobi Wine know her personally than all those who were making noise at her.

She however calmly walked away when the mob started shouting that she wasn’t welcome and should rather go bury the late Speaker Hon Jacob Oulanyah.

The Nkola ya taxi singer expressed her disappointment in Bobi Wine’s failure to calm down his supporters.

Failure to rule over his supporters’ radicalism is a thing the NUP principle has constantly failed to ensure.

This is not only in showbiz but in other aspects of living. NUP has never come out to fully condemn these constant attacks on it’s opposition which are now getting out of hand turning tribal.
