It’s 9 months since Nxt Radio started airing and serving it’s listeners and now on 17th June, they have revealed their secret to success as they give back to their loyal listeners.
In a space of just 9 months, Nxt Radio, a station belonging to Next Media has decided to embark on a one week’s campaign to give back to its listeners as well as recruit new listeners to their frequency, 106.1 FM.
While interacting with colleagues about airwaves and what makes or breaks a radio, this Website’s reporter discovered something different about Nxt Radio, they hire “old superstars”.
For those of you who’ve not had the chance of listening to the radio, here’s a list of ‘old superstars’ working with Nxt Radio: -Marcus Kwikiriza, Florence Qitui, Karitas Karisimbi, Bush Baby, Charles Ongen and Douglas Lwanga.
Talking to Marcus about the salaries paid to these experienced workers, he revealed to us that:
“Employers usually get worried about high salaries but that’s just a small investment one makes to have more productive and cost-effective work.”
“Employees with years of experience possess qualities like a better understanding and grasp of work, adjust easily, they as well bring a lot of expertise to the company.” He added.
