One Person Reported Dead, 28 Injured As Deadly Tornados Hit US

At least one person has been killed and dozens more injured after deadly tornados caused a theatre roof to collapse in Illinois, USA.

It’s noted that over 250 people were inside the Apollo theatre, Belvedere when the roof caved in at around 19:55 local time fire department said.

There were images all over social media portraying crowd trying to clear the rubble after the theatre’s structure collapsed.

However ,according to Fire chief Schafer told reporters that at least 28 people were taken to hospital with five I. A serious condition.

Jan Hensley the mayor of Covington pleaded with people not to drive around as power lines had been hit by storms.

Covington police Department described the city as impassible blocked by downed power poles and large trees toppled in-front of homes.
