Last night, Myko Ouma serenaded revelers at Liquid Silk Naalya with an acoustic performance that put the icing on the proverbial valentine’s cake.

The talented jazz guitarist was flanked by a full ensemble band stepped on the Unplugged stage dressed in a white jacket and a black trouser.
Arguably Uganda’s best jazz guitarist, Myko Ouma opened the show with an acoustic rendition of “Water Runs Dry,” – originally a Boyz II Men song. before; the live band accompanied him in playing “Neera,” a tribute to Mowzey Radio of Good Lyfe. “Love You Every day” by Bebe Cool. “Waiting In Vain” by Bob Marle. Human Nature by Michael Jackson. “Sura Yako” by Sauti Sol as well as the famous “Ou Le” song by Twoubadou are some of the tunes that the band sampled in true acoustic fashion.
The sound output was one of the best that Unplugged Season 2 has had to date. It is little surprise that many attendees unraveled and enjoyed the show spear headed by ouma.
Next week Unplugged Season 2 will do something they have not done before: they will host two artists on the same stage. Latinum and Nutty Neithan will be live on the Liquid Silk Naalya stage.
