Among the Ugandan singers who worked and welcomed him was Pallaso. The two know each other from back in the day and even have a song together, Twatoba. Just after this concert, Pallaso’s eldest brother, Humphrey Mayanja passed away. The singer made a brief post mourning him. Later on, he dropped many photos of himself and Davido as they were chilling having a good time.
Social media users immediately started dragging and insulting the singer. They wondered how he could be posting things like this in the wake of his brother’s death.
“This post could wait surely to all you and your family to mourn & burry in peace,” one social media user said.
“I remember wen Davido’s son died he even stopped singing for some tym but is yo brother’s death not important,” another social media asked the Malamu singer.
“If I were you Pallaso, I would first pull this post down… I mourn my brother then the rest follows….”Self respect”,” one of the singer’s followers advised him.
Meanwhile, the Mayanja family is still mourning the death of their brother, son, husband and father. Humphrey Mayanja who was in his late 40’s succumbed to cancer at the Uganda Cancer Institute. Sources have it that he will be laid to rest on Wednesday.
