It’s the reason that he’s on high demand currently but this has landed him in some problems. The singer saw his concert in Kiboga flop, a thing that can be blamed on his own doing.
Pallaso has failed to honor a number of concerts where he’s been booked to perform. The most recent was in Kyotera where fans became rowdy and destroyed equipment after the singer didn’t show up on stage.
His recent concert in Kiboga had only about 70 people and most of these were hawkers. This has prompted events promoter Abitex to brand him an undisciplined artist.
According to Abitex, Pallaso is turning out to be greedy and yet he has no music that can get people revering him.
Abitex advised Pallaso to calm down his ego and agree to concerts he’s sure to honor.
The event’s promoter then said that Pallaso is just like Omulangira Suuna.
“Pallaso is turning out to be another problem in the industry. He’s absconded about five shows in just this month yet his fees are so high. He’s an indisciplined and greedy fellow but he should tame his ego. Most promoters are now counting losses and hiding. We have always advised them but they say we have aged out now see what they are going through. Pallaso now deserves to be paid 3.2 million shillings instead of the 9 and above he’s been getting paid. This should even be in town and not upcountry because he has no influence through his music,” Abitex said.
However, Pallaso who last night clinched the MTN Caller Tunez artist of the year award had some advice for promoters. The Malamu singer advised promoters to book artists they can afford and leave the ones they can’t.
