Pastor Manjeri On Why She Dumped Hubby

Married couples have been called upon to portray a Godly image for those who would wish to get married. Pastor Manjeri, a senior pastor at Bethel Healing Centre Churches made the call.

Shortly after returning from Dubai and USA, she spoke to her congregation and gave women a piece of advice. She told them to desist from abusing the rights of their husbands’ children born outside their marriage.

The pastor urged women to love these children, raise and nurture them and turn them into respectable citizens. She also commented on her marriage woes that have been fodder for tabloids.

“I took off the wedding ring and threw it away so that I can concentrate on big upcoming miracle crusades around Uganda,” she said.

Furthermore, she revealed she had no bad feelings toward her ex-husband.

“I respect Ssalongo Katongole and he can go ahead and marry if he wishes. I’m not looking for a man. I have no thirst for men and God is enough,” she said.

However, she did not dismiss the idea of getting married again. She said if she meets someone worth getting married to, she would get married in two years time.

Pastor Manjeri also quoted the Bible allowing a woman to divorce in cases of infidelity or even death. She then wished Pastor Vincent Katongole peace and happy life.

The pastor also advised married couples to trust each other even in case of misunderstandings. She also urged them to solve problems amicably without publicizing them.
