Pastor Wilson Bugembe Distances Himself From Rumored Wedding

The founder and lead pastor at Light the World Ministries, Pastor Wilson Bugembe has come out to distance himself from his rumored wedding.

A wedding invitation card surfaced on the internet and different news channels this week.

This card gave details that the youthful pastor was going to wed on the 3rd of June 2022 at his church. And a reception would later be held at Hotel Africana. However, what confused many was that the card didn’t bear the bride’s name.

Many people started speculating with some concluding that it was BBS TV presenter Florence Nampijja. Pastor Bugembe however disclosed to Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show cohost Kaiyz that he doesn’t know about the said wedding.

In fact, it was just a strategy to market an upcoming concert on the exact date which will be Martyr’s day.

“Pastor Wilson Bugembe has distanced himself from the said wedding. He revealed that he will be having a concert on the 3rd of June which will be Martyr’s day. This was simply a marketing strategy but nothing big about it,” Kaiyz said.

It would have been a big surprise had Pastor Bugembe really gotten married. The singer/pastor seems to treasure his single status so much and probably doesn’t want anyone evading his private space.

This is not the first time stunts are being held about the pastor’s marital status with his full awareness. Having been around a lot of secular entertainers, Bugembe seems to have adopted their showbiz antics.
