Pastor Wilson Bugembe Reveals The Cause of Rifts Among Pastors

Light the World Ministries lead pastor, Wilson Bugembe has revealed the major cause of rifts between different pastors both in Uganda and globally.

The pastor’s explanation shows that it’s not a strange factor but something well known. Bugembe simply blamed the devil for these disagreements that usually occur amongst different pastors.

According to the singing pastor, it’s always a battle between darkness and light. Therefore the devil is always looking for people to poach on. And whenever people desert church, God and praying, it’s a win for the devil.

He says what’s going on is the devil trying to confuse as many people as possible. It’s still the devil who gains from these disagreements between the different pastors.

The solution prescribed by the pastor on how to end this is prayers. When questioned if dialogue can’t work, Bugembe said that his role is to pray for them and sing.

“I hugely blame the devil for the rows between different pastors. When people start leaving church, prayers and God plus their Bibles to bars and other wrong deeds because of the disagreements from pastors, it’s a win for the devil. That’s what he actually wants, this is always a battle between light and darkness. Therefore, the devil’s major aim is to confuse as many Christians as possible. For my case, my goal is to pray for them and nothing much. They even see me as a musician who can’t offer them advice,” Bugembe said.

When they asked him whether it’s not finances breeding these disagreements, Bugembe still blamed the devil. He said that these people bickering are actually financially well off.

It’s even possible to say that pastors have taken over the place of politicians, musicians, and socialites in beefing.

A case in point is Pastor Mondo against Ssempa, pastor Ssenyonga against Pastor Kakande, Bugingo against almost all other pastors, etc. What’s funny is that these disagreements are more in the born-again pastors.

It’s very rare to find religious leaders from the older sections of Christianity or even the indigenous ones fighting against themselves.
