According to her, she’s set to study whilst teaching dance lessons in the States. She revealed that she is going to pursue journalism. Additionally, the dancer said that it will be a reciprocal process where she learns and also teaches.
“It’s true I’m going back to the US very soon but this time it will be for academic purposes. I will also be conducting dance lessons as I also get to learn what I don’t know. For my education, I plan on doing mass communication,” she said.
It should be recalled that she and the Ghetto Kids became popular in 2014/15 under their manager, Dauda Kavuma.
They would go ahead to feature in Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss video that eventually won him the prestigious BET Award. In fact, it was from this song that she derived her name, Sitya Loss.
Meanwhile, the dancer said that she grew up in Kawempe in a poverty-stricken household. Together with her parents and siblings, they lived in a single room with no electricity.
Despite all these tough conditions, music was the only thing that always brought a smile on her face.
Meanwhile, she said that her parents are now proud of the heights she’s reached. They have high hopes in her and she surely won’t disappoint them a single bit.
