Patrick Amuriat Prophesies Stillbirth For Proposed New Party By FDC Breakaway Faction

The current president of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Hon Patrick Amuriat Oboi has prophesied a stillbirth of the new proposed party by the FDC breakaway faction.

It should be noted that the Najjanankumbi party saw a group of some of its strongmen walk away from it. These include the likes of Dr. Col. Kiiza Besigye, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, Amb. Wasswa Birigwa, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda among others.

This group claimed that FDC Secretary General Hon Nandala Mafabi and Amuriat sold the party to Museveni.

After a series of meetings, they decided to dissolve the party and start a new one. However, POA and FDC have also been fighting back saying that this group doesn’t have the power to do away with the original FDC.

Now, Amuriat has come out to prophesy that their new party too won’t stand the test of time. This is because it is built on hate and not any fundamental principles.

Additionally, the former presidential candidate said that the FDC will weather this storm and emerge stronger than ever under his stewardship.

“I’m extremely confident that under my leadership we are going to weather this storm. The @FDCOfficial1 is going to emerge stronger than ever before. I also want to prophesy a stillbirth for the political party that is being formed as an upshot of the @FDCOfficial1.It’s not going to survive because it is built out of hate.”

Besides, Patrick Amuriat said that they would have loved to keep this group and keep working with them. However, since it’s not possible, they will move on. On top of that, the party has had more sacrifices than this including bloodshed.
