Pep Guardiola Reveals What He’s Going To Do To Revive His Crumbling Team

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has revealed what he’s going to do to revive his crumbling team. This followed the 2-0 loss to Liverpool yesterday at the Anfield. A poor City side was beaten 2-0 with goals from Coady Gakpo and a penalty from Mo Salah.

The score line was a relief for the current champions because Liverpool could have won by a huge and embarrassing result.

This means that Manchester City has now gone 7 games without a win in all competitions. And according to Guardiola, he will now resort to building his players’ confidence as well as getting back his injured players who are slowly returning.

“From here, we will start building our confidence and winning games. I want the team back, I want my players back… we will make a reset from here. I can feel that,” said Pep.

City are now 11 points behind league leaders Liverpool although half the season is yet to be played. Liverpool will be playing Newcastle on Wednesday in order to cement their place at the top of the table while Manchester City play Nottingham Forest on the same day.

Pep also explained the 6 finger gesture he did towards the Liverpool fans. He revealed that they were singing how he was getting sacked in the morning after the horrible results.

He had to remind them how he’s won six Premier League titles on their head. Additionally, Pep said that he didn’t expect such remarks from Liverpool supporters because he thought they had class.
