Apparently, she’s broke and wants it back. During the first lockdown, Ntale gave out Shs 50,000 to a number of fans. This was to help them pass through the lockdown that was to last several months.
Ntale however has always been talking about this money ever since. She at one time vowed to never do such a gesture.
“You guys remember the money I gave you during the lockdown, Bambi I want it back,” she captioned her tweet alongside a laughing emoji.
Ntale said that although the money wasn’t so much, it was from her savings. However, many people kept inboxing her which made her realize she had committed a very big mistake.
“Yes, I gave out some money during the Coronavirus lockdown and that is something I will never ever repeat again.
I’II never! Oh My Goodness. I had that ka spare money and I was like let me share. So I decided to like give out to the first 10 people. By the way, I didn’t give out much money but I recall as if I gave out like Shs 400k but in small doses.
I felt good but it really overwhelmed me because people kept on asking for more money. I was like what the hell have I gotten myself into. And then, I am not also that rich,” she said some time ago.
The singer further said that the lockdown helped her filter her real friends. She learnt the real ones from the fake ones.
Meanwhile, the singer seems to have rejuvenated her withering music career. While appearing on KFM, the former Swangz Avenue singer reassured fans that she’s here to stay. She went ahead to launch her “Ndaga” song.
