While speaking to the media about this case, Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire, said that they had received the necessary statements from both sides.
It’s therefore the resident state attorney in the DPP’s office who will give a way forward. He will determine whether there is a case or not. And if there is any, then a court date will be scheduled.
According to Owoyesigire, Spice Diana’s side maintained that the deceased was a thug. He also added that those who had been detained over this murder were released on bail. They are now trying to identify the alleged mob justice culprits.
“We have already finished obtaining the necessary statements from both sides. We then referred the file to the DPP’s office and we shall wait for the Resident State Attorney to determine the way forward. It will be him to tell us whether there is a case to answer or not. If there is any, a date will be set for the case.
The singer’s side maintained that the late was an attacker and thug. They made an alarm and the locals carried out mob justice.
We are now trying to identify the culprits. For those who were arrested over this murder, they have been released on bail. We shall find out if they were part of the mob that killed the late,” Luke Owoyesigire said.
There are now so far about 3-4 versions of how Henry Nsamba passed away around Spice Diana’s home. But hopefully, transparency, accountability, and justice shall prevail.
Spice Diana is still on a countrywide tour and hasn’t addressed this scandal ever since it broke out. Most of her fans however believe she’s innocent and had nothing to do with this murder.
