An investigation in Fort Portal city has been launched by the police into the murder of a teenage boy only identified as Philip.

They found the body of the late locked up in the house where he lived. This is also where they found it.

Apparently the police believes that Philip’s colleague committed the murder however much his details were not available by press time.

The village LC1 chairperson, Patrick Kandole, said the duo have been casual laborers on the farm of Moses Musinguzi. Furthermore he added that the duo had not yet spent a week in the area.

‘’The deceased was first seen in the area on Sunday last week while the one suspected to have committed the crime came into the area the following Tuesday,’’ Kandole said.

This incident comes just two days after residents of Nyakabale A in Bukwali ward, Fort Portal city woke up to a shock after they found two girls dead in their home following a fire in their one-room tenement.

Sarah Kabagweri 15 years and Lillian 13yrs were found lying behind the door and another in her bed. The circumstances surrounding the fire also remain unclear.
