How will that shape our country? Are we satisfied with just having the parliament full of candidates from a specific political party and yet adding nothing to the country?
Can we have some mature politics going on. I mean we may need the change but at what cost? I really think the capability of someone should come before the political party they are representing. This only counts when our interest is the same, taking our country forward.
This may call for some sensitization. The only problem is that the people who may do the sensitizing may not be objective as they should.
Currently, the political atmosphere is on fire. People are very impulsive and overly emotional. Unfortunately, they are less reasonable. Let us sit down and evaluate each candidate, putting their political party aside.
If you give him/ her an opportunity to lead, will they really take you where you want to go? At the end of the day, the voter is at risk if their representative doesn’t speak for his district or so.
We are in the 21st Century, we should change the way we think honestly. Let us be more cautious in every decision we make especially politically because it shapes the country.
We may support a particular party but if you see more capability in a candidate from another party, give them platform, that is mature politics.
