However, while others are struggling, a few of them earn enough money to live comfortably.
A lot of people can only afford one meal a day because they can’t afford to eat two meals. According to Precious Remmie, it is interesting that people suffer but still live happily every day.
She attributed this happiness to prayerful Ugandans who always include the whole country in their prayers.
Precious Remmie said there is so much going on in Uganda that without God, someone can’t survive. The economy is very tough and only a few are living large.
“The one thing I know about our country is that we persevere through life because we have prayerful people. We truly have individuals who pray, and when they do, they pray for the country. Without God, we can’t survive in this country,” she said.
It should be noted that most young people who don’t have jobs involve themselves in all manner of crime.
Others are down in ghettos taking drugs and alcohol every day. They usually die hungry or die because of overdosing on the drugs they take.
Well, President Museveni sometime last year announced that the country had entered the middle-income status. However, it appears this is not true, especially with about 75% of the population struggling to survive.
