President Museveni Commissions Bus Terminal In Moroto

President Museveni has commissioned the bus terminal in Moroto Municipality, Moroto District. This bus terminal will have restaurants on the upper floor, modern toilet and bathroom facilities, a ticketing office and will be able to accommodate at last 16 (Sixteen) buses at a time.

With this terminal, we shall be able to organise bus operators here and reduce congestion on the road sides,’he said.

Also, with a very smooth road from Soroti to Moroto, which we are stretching to Kotido, we are able to attract local and foreign tourism,’said Museveni.

With tourism earnings, our people here will be able to improve their standards, while others will be employed directly and indirectly. This fits well into my agenda on wealth creation. I hope that the wanainchi can use this infrastructure to get themselves out of poverty.

Thank you Karamoja sub-region for listening to my wealth creation message. I head to Napak State Lodge, where I will hold a radio address shortly as I conclude the M7 Wealth Creation Tour here. Tune in, join the conversation,’he added.
