President Museveni has revealed that he is tired of Europeans telling him how to organise elections. He said he is an expert, they should be the ones to contact him for help on how to organise their elections.
The President has been so vocal about what Europeans have to say about his government and Uganda at large.
He is even among the first presidents in Africa to sign the anti homosexuality bill despite being threatened to be cut off the aid given to Uganda.
In 2021 when Bobi Wine lost the presidential elections to him, he started going to the media outside Uganda saying elections were rigged.
He even talked about the violence and death of innocent Ugandans during the campaign period. Some European countries were not happy with President Museveni and his government saying the way Ugandan elections are organised is not right.
According to President Museveni, he feels very sorry for those Europeans who think he organises elections poorly.
He also said they shouldn’t be coming to him to tell him how to organise elections. They should in fact come to him to ask for advise on how to organise them.
“These Europeans, I feel sorry for them.. They come to tell me how to organise elections yet I am an expert on elections. They can call me to help them,” he said.
