The heavy rainfalls left many displaced and homeless leaving president Museveni with not so much options only to apologize for the governments delayed resettlement efforts of these people living in mountainous areas to safer areas within the same region promising now the process is going to be worked on a rocket speed to such similar situations in the near future.

He also warned these settlers about provoking nature, calling on them to stop settling on river banks which some are doing.
