Pretty Nicole Saga: Only One Suspect Arrested In The Assault Case

Uganda Police has confirmed that only one suspect has been arrested in the case of a young girl Pretty Nicole who was physically assaulted by friends over a man. This came after Ugandans through social media called out for Justice.

Through the videos shared on social media, these young girls were fighting for a man. It is said that Pretty Nicole was sleeping with one of their boyfriends and that’s the reason they beat her up.

After the videos circulated, Police immediately started hunting down the suspects. They first got the victim who refused to identify the suspects but they later arrested one.

According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the suspect that was arrested is known as 18-year-old Kafta Queen. She is said to be the prime suspect in this case.

“One person has today been arrested in connection to the viral video where a girl is seen being tortured. She has been identified as Kafta Queen, 18. And is the prime suspect that invited the victim to attend her birthday celebrations, only to start beating her up,” Luke Owoyesigyire tweeted.

However, Owoyesigyire is not happy with some media platforms for spreading the wrong news. He tweeted saying he doesn’t know how professional these outlets are due to the information being put out in this case.

“How professional are some of these media outlets? @AKasingye was only asking to know whether they were arrested and u guys are just putting it out there as confirmation of the arrest. The Police has only one suspect (Kafta Queen, 18 ) and we still looking for four others,” Luke Owoyesigyire tweeted.
