Prices Of Scholastic Materials Shoot Up As Parents And Students Prepare For School Next Week

Parents and students have started running up and down shopping as school is set to open next week on Monday. Currently, markets are full to capacity as parents are flooding them to secure what their children will need.

Due to this, prices have shot because the demand is high. This means parents who didn’t plan for this are heading for trouble.

However, this communication felt distant but it has now drawn closer. However, during the festive season, at least many people advised parents not to overspend in preparation for 10th January.

The trouble though is, there was almost nothing to save because most parents were actually not working due to Covid. Take an example of bar owners, their businesses are only opening this year after two years.

Unfortunately, schools want a fully paid bank slip before letting students study. This problem can only be tackled by the Ministry of Education by giving a directive not to prioritize money.

Surprisingly, they are quiet which means parents have to find a way of just paying fees to the dot. Is it fair though, given the condition the whole world has been in?

Meanwhile, much as schools are opening, some teachers and students are not going back to school.

Some teachers ventured into new businesses while some students decided to just drop out because of the system in the recent two years. All in all, it’s good news that schools are opening.
